  • I wholeheartedly support this bill, and it's about time. Who are these people who are so full of hate? I will never understand why anyone would oppose or say such terrible things. This hatred is scary and chills me to the bone.

  • Wow beautiful. I love the multi religions that are represented to explain how our feather is like your cross...our regelia is like the priest's robes. There would never be a mascot called "Father Paul" dressed in priests robes and holding out a cross! (Muslim or Jewish kid). I myself would stand up agaist that. It is just an outrage. Institutionalized or not it is indeed wrong!

  • @lion3p0 Sadly, no. There's a great deal of racism and bigotry still in Oklahoma, and right wing thugs who think anything showing respect for human beings is, to use their vapid vocabulary, "PC". They still use the hateful term "R**skins", and one of the top football programs in the nation is Tulsa Union, which uses that racial slur, getting a lot of national attention for their fine play and embarrassing Oklahoma with their rancid mascot. Should have disappeared decades ago.

  • was it passed or not?

  • ...meow...(...I do see why High Schools were being targeted for this type of change, especially in Oklahoma, because the atmosphere in the learning environment was being affected: the age of the students and views as stereotypes. This contrasts the adult professionalism of the NFL teams and viewpoints of equality: Mrs. Sainz and the NY Jets and the immediate response that indicated intolerance of discrimination...)

  • ...meow...(...no offense intended to Mr. Mike Shanahan - he was always such a "gentelman" to everyone in Denver...)

  • the schools and other teams can either do it voluntarily or me and my people can remove it for them,

  • As you are misrepresenting the honored German service with the rascist leanings you hold and they do not...I have to call you out on your ignorance. I with my native heritage..and many of my friends full and partial blood do not in any way fell honored by your mascots. So you may lie to yourself... but be advised... it is a lie nonetheless.

  • wehrmachtsoldiers - how do you 'end up getting screwed by it'?
