  • What kind of Silvertip is that?

  • @plungerdrum that particular brush is a Shavemac "variable loft brush." That model is no longer made.

  • Mantic, what is your experience of wooden handled shaving brushes compared to those with a non-wooden handle?

Are wooden handled brushes generally suitable to immerse in water? Have you ever experienced problems with the wood swelling and the hair knot coming loose?

  • @wks1978 so far all my wood handle shaving brushes have held up pretty well. They've been treated with a water-resistant coating.

  • Real men use Honey Badger Brushes

  • dang I think I got the pure badger brush... i could def tell it looks coarse and they def bleached it

  • Nice Hitchcockian director's cameo at 4:50 mate!

  • Very good presentation.

  • Wow... There is so much to learn about shaving that I never knew thank you so much.. keep up the good work

  • @Imasofat you should just try it. or wait for the next 8 bladed cartridge that they will sell for $3 a piece.

  • @carelessninjas You should try a horse hair brush, it has the best of boar and the best of badger, though not as soft as silver tip.

The horses are not killed for it.

A Vie-Long horse hair brush should outperform most (if not any) synthetic brush.

  • @carelessninjas Nice idea, but the Chinese ( where almost all hair comes from) think nothing of animals, the environment and only of profit. Buy what works for you and spend your money with those who appreciate your money.
