Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are releasing additional photos of the suspects from the Lumbee Guaranty Bank robbery on October 14, 2011. The photos were taken from surveillance cameras of another business located on Fort Bragg Road earlier the same morning as the robbery of the Lumbee Guaranty Bank.

At this time, please review the attached photographs that were obtained from video surveillance cameras at Lumbee Guaranty Bank. Police search for bank robbery suspects (10/14/2011)

Around 3:32 PM on October 14, 2011, Fayetteville Police Officers responded to a report of a bank robbery at the Lumbee Guaranty Bank located at 6313 Raeford Road. According to witnesses, two suspects entered the bank, handed a note to an employee, and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and drove away in a Maroon colored Alero. Officers recovered the vehicle used during the robbery a short distance away.

Both suspects are described as wearing rastafarian style hats. One suspect is described as a black male with dark skin tone, approximately 5'6" tall.

More information about the robbery will be released as it becomes available. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 433-1856 or Crime Stoppers at (910) 483-TIPS (8477).
