Millions of players scrambling out of cities for preservation. Healers trying to help. Some "terrorists" trying to spread the plague on purpose. no wonder the U.S. government among many others studied this virtual plague.

I was there when it started to spread on the server I ran away as soon as someone said their was an infected player nearby. I went into the wilderness not daring to go near the cities again and any time another player came anywhere near me I ran. If that had been real life it would have been crazy.

@Grillzor Yeah I wish it happened in MMORPGs like special events or something, come to think of it maybe random weekly events is just what Blizzard needs to get World of Warcraft up toits previous hights

@Grillzor good thing I didn't miss it When I was playing I was like LOLlololol and everytime I see a player I always stay away from it, then I went to tanaris just only to avoid players.

I wish I was around to have seen this! Massive Epidemic that spread like fire. Blizzard had to do hard resets of the servers to fix it. Wikipedia FTW!

@mymobilephoneaccount Not a glitch. It was specifically designed to make a raid boss harder, but when the players got out of the raid, they still had corrupted blood, and because you got infected by being near somoeone with it, it became a problem. But Blizzard fixed it by removing the debuff whenevver you got out of that certain raid.
