Thanks for posting. Such an inspiring and creatively daring virtuoso musician. Such an under appreciated talent with a marvelous body of work that she has delivered to us for over two decades now, going all the way back to Autoclave days..

@RRLedford I'm not sure how underappreciated she is now. She was just on David Letterman a few days ago and her new Wild Flag CD has got great reviews.

@chasspeed Her outstanding efforts with Autoclave and Helium remain largely under-the-radar. This music was outside-the-box brilliant. With Wild Flag her unique tuning is gone, and she has been mostly pulled back inside the box. The price paid for mainstream success is often paid by dilution of creative edginess.

@chasspeed Yeah, twenty years after Autoclave, Helium now long gone, & both bands almost nobody knows, or ever heard of. Now her star finally rises, as she backs away from some of her edgier sounding stuff, to better "fit in" with the Wild Flag package, They are no doubt a good band from a mainstream music perspective, but I am way more inspired by her past outside-the-box composing creativity than with what we get from her playing in Wild Flag.
