GRUPO DE BAILES POPULARES "IAR"
Fúndase o ano 1982 no seo da AA.VV. Castrillón-Urb. Soto ( A Coruña ) pola iniciativa dun grupo de persoas inquedas e preocupadas polo futuro do Noso Folclore, fundando tamén a súa Escola de Baile.
A traballar pola recuperación da Tradición Cultural Galega ( bailes, cantares, música, indumentarias, costumes...) xa desde os seus comezos percorren as nosas aldeas pra obter unha aprendizaxe directa e de Campo. Isto conforma ao Grupo IAR cun repertorio propio que amosa tanto nas actuacións no noso país coma nas do estranxeiro.
O "Premio IAR", de grande relevancia, entrégase tódolos anos nun Festival de Folclore Galego organizado polo Grupo á persoa ou entidade que máis teña feito polo noso folclore.
O presente video é unha Homenaxe polo seu 25 Aniversario, celebrado cunha Foliada no parque Eirís ( A Coruña )na noitiña do sábado día 10 de Novembro de 2007.O grupo "Cantigas da Terra" ( A Coruña ) tamén estivo presente nesta Foliada coa representación dun cuarteto máis dúas pandereteiras.

GROUP OF POPULAR DANCES "IAR"

Grove is founded the year 1982 on the bosom of the Residents association of Castrillón-urbanization (A Coruña-GALICIA-Spain-Europe) on the initiative of a group of persons anxious and worried by the future of the Galician Folk, also founding the School of Dance.
Working for the recovery of the Cultural Galician Tradition (dances, singings, music, apparels, customs ...) already from the beginning they cross the Galician villages to obtain a direct learning and "in the own place". This agrees to the Group IAR with an proper digest that shows so much in the performances in Galicia as in those of the foreigner.
The " Prize IAR ", of great relevancy, submits every year in a Festival of Galician Folklore organized by the Group to the person or entity that more has done by the Galician Folk.
The present video is an Honoring for their 25 Anniversary celebrated with a Galician Traditional Party ("foliada")in the park Eirís (A Coruña) during the night of Saturday, the 10th of November, 2007.The quartet together with both interpreters of tambourine they are a representation of the group " Cantigas da Terra" (A Coruña), collaborator in this Galician Traditional Party ("foliada").
