FOX8Cleveland's chief meteorologist, Dick Goddard, forecasts the weather trends for the upcoming 2011-2012 winter season for Northeast Ohio. Even though he starts out with his "wooly bears", he does state in reality, wooly bears although fun to talk about, have about as much credence as the tooth fairy. He is predicting somewhat of a harsh beginning to this coming winter season, followed by some moderation during the second half of the winter. This was broadcast on the 10PM news on October 31, 2011.
Being a weatherman is the only job I know of that you can be dead wrong "ALL" the time and still keep your job. Geeesh! This winter has been the warmest and littlest amount of snow ever. Do you hear them talking about it? "NO"! Hmm I wonder why?
