What a beautiful little story and video! I think I have the same dream, which is to find a piece of land and build my own little house! For now, I just moved to old house in a valley on Oahu, Hawaii. I fix a lot of things there so I can live there but I have a huge garden that I have been plowing with another person living in the house. We plan to grow lettuce, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, and all sorts of things. This is temporary but the dream is for the long term. Thanks for inspiring me.

Nice Story but you are wrong about one point, Nim's grandmother's Voice is not silent. You need to listen...differently and you will hear.

BTW, I was only 32 when I married in Thailand. That was 15 years and four years ago. Now I am being interrupted by a squabble between boy (15) and daughter (9). Somethings are the same all over.

I married a girl from Surin here in the US. We visited Thailand last winter and I instantly fell in love with the place. I plan to retire there. Thank you for the inspiring video.
