Caught Eddie & Earl Stanley at Mo's Chalet ( They're there every Wed. for 7+ years now) in Metairie last year. I played drums for them in the 60's & actually played on this tune. Miss the good old days. Eddie's a good guy & he still has the pipes.

@wolfegtrs Thanks for the info!!! I'm not at all happy as to how you guys seem to have been totally forgotten even with "Gypsy" kickin' some butt nationally back in the day. To make matters worse, there's some nut in Vegas who does an Elvis wedding and he has pissed off a ton of people for being drunk and/or a "no show". His name is "Eddie Powers". Anyway, loved Eddie's music and I may have to sneak over there one Wednesday night to catch the show.

@melsgtp Don't know. That info came from another Youtube sub. A web page called Big Easy Street Sounds says he plays there and a place call The Max over there in Metairie on N. Woodlawn. I've never been to either. The webpage just has a "neglected" feel to it. May wanna give them a call.

He absolutely ruined my wedding. I was in tears the rest of the night because of how he treated me and my guests. Do not hire him. He belongs in jail for his conduct. He has been "blacklisted" from the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas, they will no longer allow him in their hotel and casino for his behavior. Police report has been filed and lawsuit is pending.

@saraha707 Saraha, sorry about your wedding but you got the wrong Eddie Powers assuming you're talking about the Elvis impersonator who works Vegas. This Eddie Powers is not the same guy so check your facts before you slander someone. Besides, if you wanted an "Elvis" impersonator, sounds like you got a good one who just played the role. Next wedding, go find a Captain Kangaroo impersonator.
