@danschaoticmind Hello! I didn't mean I go immediately, don't worry :) Anyway, I am flying myself, have a faint idea what is it all about :) Of course, a "mission" like this would require a lot of investigation, planning and work, maybe one day :) Until that time, I get satisfied with my own flights between the clouds :)

@VodkaFanClub If you are asking this you are not ready to do this kind of stunt. DO careful research, invest heavily in a pressure suit, and of course, learn about skydiving, doing a number of tests and jumps yourself. Finally, you might want to look at the heavier duty high altitude balloons much like the one used for the kittinger jump and the upcoming stratos flight.

laurens890: Oh my god I am so stupid. Even though those comments about "the edge of space" are 7 months old, I am looking back on how stupid I was. And I called you rude?! I was the one that didn't know anything and I was being mean to you. So I completely take back my previous comments.

Do not mind ;) I am doing anger management right now :)

You are really rude. You are right that most of the atmosphere ends at 100000 feet but you don't need to say it in a rude, harsh way. I am going to report you if there is a way.

This is called near space, the edge of space, and on this height you have 99 % of the atmosphere beneath you. So fuck off with your comments that this isn't the edge of space.

i know you said they werent in space yet. but in the title you wrote "The Edge of Space". 100000 feet isnt close to space. space starts at 330000 feet so you still got 230000 feet to go, so they werent at the edge of space.

nice work guys
too bad i coudlnt be on the balloon too :( if it where possible, it would be, wow no words for it
How big balloon should be filled with helium to put me and my equipment (for example 120 kg of payload) to the edge of space, a 100 thousand feet above? Would be interesting to try it as an amateur scientific expedition. Must be a lifetime experience, I can't even imagine that!

I don't know, but there are a couple of people trying to go up that high and skydive back down. You might want to do a search online for them and contact them.

They aren't out of order. The camera on the payload was swinging quite a bit, so produced different angles of view of the ground, making it look like very different shots. But it's all in order.
