FCC Commissioner Michael J. Copps - who has criticized the FCC for being "a paper tiger" on station license renewals - and a panel will respond. In addition, what a companion study of the LA Times found will be presented. Panelists include: Martin Kaplan; Kathay Feng, Executive Director, California Common Cause; George Kieffer, Chair, Los Angeles Civic Alliance; Bob Jiminez, former NBC correspondent and LA local anchor; and Marcia Brandwynne, veteran LA TV broadcaster.
