@Jitt3rs It is possible to close spaces with Invisalign, it depends on the Invisalign provider you choose. An Elite Premier or Premier provider would be most likely to do this type of treatment. The are providers who have a lot of experience with the Invisalign appliance. It may be necessary to supplement your Invisalign treatment with a few braces, depending on the position of the canine teeth. Dr. Bergh

my cousin has braces and there are always plaque and food stuck in her braces . she does NOT knoww how to brush and her paltatal bar is making her hard to eat certain foods like it makes her gag on the food . what to do . it causes bad breath and sensitve teeth and a hard time eating .

One easy way to get rid of the excess food is to rinse really well with water after eating. Also, an oral irrigator (like a Water Pik) is very helpful, too.

The palatal bar can be tough to work around. The best suggestion I give to our patients is to eat smaller bites of food. This helps to keep as much food from getting caught in the braces and palatal bar.

We also like a power toothbrush. I recommend the Sonicare, and Oral B makes a good one, too.

Yes, we can fix severe crowding with Invisalign. At this point in time, Invisalign can do almost everything that regular braces can do. It's a matter of the experience that the orthodontist has with the Invisalign system.

I have invisalign and they get very dirty. Im on my second set of aligners and within the first few days they are white with yucky stuff. I brush them every day and it still doesnt get it out. Plus can you tell me a bit about attacments which im getting next week?
