Checks and Balances Project questions coal lobbyist Jeffrey Holmstead on his ties to the coal industry after "Energy and the Presidency," an event sponsored by Politico. In his biography, Holmstead failed to disclose that he lobbies on behalf of major coal companies despite the fact that his firm, Bracewell and Giuliani, has received over $13 million from the industry in the past five years.
