Not a bad "Cyberpunk" point and click adventure game. Originally for DOS in 1990 the SegaCD version comes out a few years later but gets full voice acting!

  • It's also worth to notice that not only was Snatcher made by Konami, but that it was also written and directed by Metal Gear Solid mastermind, Hideo Kojima.

Just a little sidenot of something I thought it was funny you missed in the review. Awesome reviews, by the way, I chek them almost daily.

  • True and your robot side kick in Snatcher is named "Metal Gear" I was going to mention that but I started talking too much about Snatcher in this review so I cut it down to a simple mention.

  • The voice of Blade is none other than Cam Clarke.

  • I knew I recognized his voice from TMNT and MGS!

  • @IPAWNMYQUEENS Well, that's just an opinion. Myself, I'm a MGS fan through and through and, besides, while you may not like it, you still have to recognize MGS' (and therefore, Kojima's) importance in the videogame scene.

And also, like the Bird said, you can find many connections between this game and MGS.

  • @Zeta789 so whaT METAL GEAR SOLID WAS NOT SO GREAT ANYWAY

  • Is this game set in the Shadowrun universe? The Environment reminds me of Shadowrun.

  • god i miss the old intro there should be another one like this

  • if you got on someone's bad side it didn't mean you were stuck for good. that's what the candy bars and napent were made for. the napent can pacify certain npcs and enrage others, the candy bar could make them like you. not that it matters 15 years later, but i'm sure 'brother lu' still remembers the price for failure.

  • Actually, you can die and reach dead ends a lot in Sierra games. They're pretty well known for that, especially the earlier ones. However, they did eventually get rid of the dead ends in their later games, basically because they realized how frustrating it was.

Of course, LucasArts was equally famous for having no dead ends or deaths.

  • "you never see yourself"

Remember the 2-D shooting sequences at the end of the game? LOL

  • I was playing this game last week on my PSP!!

I used to love this game until I met Snatcher! ;)

  • The patch thing reminds me of the stuff from Robocop 3 a bit. Cool looking game none the less. I love cyber-punk adventures!
