The new credit card laws actually don't go into effect untill february 2010 so it not that they not working it just the companies are doing all their black hat tricks before that time comes.

Citibank charged me $7.50 since my checking and savings combined was not $1500 for the month despite the fact that I have a direct deposit and 2 qualifying bill pay accounts. They would not reverse the fee. I'm going to close my account but will still fight to get that 7.50 back. CITIBANK SUCKS!

I'm just paying these assholes off ONE DAY AT A TIME, never to do business with citibank ripoff of the world bank again. FU CITIBANK, IF YOU HAVE SEARS CARD, IT'S CITYBANK

They don't want responsible credit card users, they don't make money from those people, they want dead-beats!

Banks are fucking Bastard criminals. Did the same thing to me.

The day after taking $7.50 a letter shows up in the mail telling you they changed their terms. They time it perfectly so you have no time to prepare and they take your money. Citibank is EVIL.

Absolutely which is why they know they have us. Walking away you lose all the good credit history too. Look at Comcast for example, Brian Roberts makes $30 million dollars a year after bonuses - and his 2nd and 3rd people in charge make in the 20's. Does he really need that bonus money? No, but he looks weaker by accepting a pay cut then he does laying off all his middle men. Sad but true.

ive had it with these credit cards!!!sick and tired of it!! i've got burned playing with fire. im paying my last 2 accounts off and that will be the end of it!! i never want to look at another credit card statement in my mailbox ever again!!
Tired of these shmucks at CitiBank. I got raised from 11.99% to 19.99% for NO REASON whatsoever. My credit score is 770 and I've never missed a payment in my life. I work hard at a job I'm overqualified for in this recession so I can continue paying the bills. I'm tired of these crooks. Maybe some of the top paid executives can accept a few million less of a bonus and use that to not screw over their top customers. They make me sick.

Thanks for your comment. Your idea is certainly an option, I've heard of people doing this with their homes that are so far under water they would never get a return. That makes sense. But I'm not in the camp of walking away from any debt as long as my situation allows me to continue paying. The banks won't change, so walking away only hurts the person who does - for at least 8 years.

Thanks for watching my vid, and thanks for responding. I sent this and letters to Citibank, MSNBC, CNN, my local TV stations, the Comptroller of the Currency, the Department of Justice and the New York Times. I also sent this to Nancy Pelosi and to Barbara Boxer, my Congress representative and senator. They have done nothing.
Please pass this around to people. Thanks again.
