Once,in Paris, maybe in 74 , I saw her in a church. It was at a concert with Terry Riley, with a reduced public. Has the interval, I took a walk in the church and I came face to face with Nico behind the altar . She was smoking a cigarette and I was petrified . She looked at me ... Then I became a worm... A little , little worm , watching a star !

A long time ago, when I was a barkeeper, I had to clean the bar in the morning.before opening. This song helped me through that process and sounded repeatedly for almost an hour. And even now, some 30 years later, I have to listen to this song at least 2 or 3 times in a row...Thnx Nico for this lovely peace of art!!!!!!

I believe this was Andy Walhol's favourite Velvets song. Mine too. Perfection. And Nico......well, what can you say ? A goddess !

God, I am pitching a tent over an image of a woman 44 years in the past. Talk about unrequeited LUST!!! I love this song. It just sounds so....EPIC...so bigger than life!!! Taken individually, this song sucks---the weak piano playing, Nico's atonal singing, the elementrary guitar playing would be instantly dismissed. BUT, together, the cacaphony of sound sounds so MAJESTIC!!! IIt kills me that I can not have her. If I wanted that kind of self abuse, I'd...I'd...I''d ooops; Nevermind!!!
