NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander is preparing to end its long journey and begin a three-month mission to taste and sniff fistfuls of Martian soil and buried ice. The lander is scheduled to touch down on the Red Planet May 25. Learn more at http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/phoenix/main/index.html.
Yeah, Freudian slip.
Hey, if you were alien to the earth, would you go the the north pole to look for life?
This thing should have been sent to Mars's equator.

She doesn't want us to know what they are really looking for.

A marvellous achievement. I've just seen the parachute and lander descent shot captured by the MRO - unbelievable... Where might we not go tomorrow? I can't wait for the science to begin now...

Hits to these vids will go way up after the national news starts letting people know a craft is about to land on Mars! I've seen nothing in the news about it although I've known about it for over a year, most Americans have no clue about this mission! Good luck and I hope all goes well with the mission. It's great you have a signal all the way down unlike the Polar Lander.
