  • Is this 100% homemade? Cos' if it is then you could work by creating high effects films in Hollywood en the future! How old are you!

  • @funny197 I was 20 at the time, I'm 21 now. Thank you, and yes it is a 100% homemade. Thank you for your kind words. I was offered a chance to attend graphical school and get a job doing animations, however, I let the opportunity pass due to the fact that I got bored with it when I realized that drawing 3d isn't as much about being good at creating art as it is having a beefy computer (or 400 of them). I can't make the scenes of my dreams because I cannot render them without hundreds of pcs..

  • Holy fucking shit. If this is anyway like how you are going to do Chronicles of faylum i am total bewildered by you.

  • @Faylum1 I'll enhance the graphics by a bit in distance shots and with close-ups I'll enhance them greatly. Fire effects such as fireballs and such will be very realistic, much higher quality than the teaser (Teaser was low res because I couldn't be assed to render it for too long) and many certain effect will be very realistic.

Currently I am working on importing stormwind with the help of Iwkya, one of my favorite animators, but it's costing me money. Both in software and hardware. Its huge.

  • nice job buddy. you've created this using dreamscape for 3ds max right? you should try to animate the palm trees too, I know its hard render time wise.

  • @Cultuz You are right. Rendering times is the big turn-off of this particular art. That's why they don't care so much about piracy too. The Vue program is even worse, as it REQUIRES a rendering farm to render properly and not within years of waiting time! You can see what Vue does in Terminator Salvation among other films, the scenes created for these films can be set-up in minutes, but you don't even think of trying to render them! It would take months for just 30 secs of footage...
