Cummins ISB6.7 EPA 2010 delivers superior performance with the lowest cost of operation and maximum uptime to make it best-in-class. Its High Pressure Common Rail (HPCR) fuel system delivers an optimum balance of performance, emissions control and fuel economy across the entire operating range. Ratings range from 200-325 hp and a maximum 750 lb-ft of peak torque.
It's not about what the consumers want, it's about what the government tells engine manufacturers what they have to do. Every engine manufacturer, from John Deere, to Isuzu to Cummins have to meet emissions standards. If you want to get around it, you have to go to 3rd world countries where there are no regulations. They do still build smokin diesel engines with no aftertreatment systems for those markets
No offense too I'm a huge cummins fan but they kinda need to step their game up now. Were gettin our asses kicked by powerjokes and duracraps now. The last thing I want to see is a dodge with anything other than a Cummins badge on it. I can speak for pretty much everybody when I say we need a change in something here. I'm tired of seeing the powerjoke and duracrap commercials. I hope I live to see the day where the epa falls apart and we get good engines back Hail Cummins and God Bless America.
@grasscutter88 dude your exactly right what you said. i will say this though once you take all of this emissions shit off of these things they sound and perform so much better. its almost comparable to the late 5.9. what i dont understand is 90% of the people dont use these engines how theyre meant its mostly rec use. why arn't they asking us what we want. were the ones making their paychecks not that maby 10% of the world. Death to the EPA. This must stop. Its a matter of when I suppose right?
ok cummins is using diesel exhaust fluid in the engines now too? i'd really like to know what everyday person they survey for this stuff. everything they say people want in a diesel they're wrong. people want to hear a diesel i dont want a astounding cummins engine to sound like a little foreign car. 90 percent of the people who use diesel trucks dont use them at least most of the time how theyre meant for. and those people are the ones they should be asking what we want in it. Death to the epa.

Better fuel economy? lol yeah right. Try 20 percent less fuel economy. Along with an 8000 dollar exhaust system that has a lifespan of 100,000 miles.
