Don't Let Our Love Start Slippin' Away was recorded by Vince Gill on his 1993 album, I Still Believe in You. In this iVideosongs title, instructor Steve Rieck shows you how to play the acoustic and electric guitar parts from this country hit. The acoustic part features familiar chord shapes, while the electric guitar incorporates power chord extensions along with common lead guitar techniques used in the intro and solo sections of the song. Played on an acoustic and electric guitar in down a half-step tuning, this medium-tempo song is a good choice for intermediate-level players.

  • Don't let this 35 second preview fool you, the lesson on this song is WELL worth buying if you want to learn this song right, no this is not a paid comment, this is just a real comment, go to the site and buy this lesson, it's awesome, shows all the parts note for note and it's broke down into each section, even 3 guitar parts! Gotta be the best few bucks I've spent in a while, big bang for the dollar! Try to find some tab posts of this song, they are pitiful!

  • I have another teaching video using an over the top distortion tone demonstrating country guitar techniques. I couldn't even listen to it, not much inspiration there. However the guitar in that DVD seems clean compared to your sound. It could possibly be a great learning tool, however, it does make me question whether I would appreciate your taste which can be important.

  • Bite them nails.

  • Are you serious with that buzzy tone?
