In the Weekly Republican Address, Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison warns about Democrats' financial regulation bill not stopping future bailouts.

Sen. Hutchison says, "Republicans are working to ensure the bill would forbid any future bailouts of Wall Street banks.... The Democrats pushed a bill through the Senate Banking Committee that does not stop future bailouts. Republicans have been attacked for speaking out against it and asking for bipartisan negotiations before allowing the bill to be debated on the Senate floor. But to be clear, we will stand firm against a partisan bill that exposes ordinary taxpayers to future bailouts or favors big companies over community banks across America. The tactics the Democratic leadership used to pass the health care bill must not be repeated."

She adds, "The fact is a growing number of experts on both sides of the ideological spectrum are coming to see what Republicans have been saying all along: the Financial Regulation Bill contains serious flaws. We believe this bill can be fixed, with a sincere bipartisan solution."

  • Why is she speaking to me as if I'm a three year old?

  • Regulation now, regulation forever!

    SEIG HEIL

  • To my fellow Texans, FIRE Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison; the ranking Republican member of the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation. She reply s to me "Unfortunately, these security policies systematically failed with the nearly successful terrorist attack on one of our airliners on Christmas Day 2009 by an Al Qaeda-trained Nigerian terrorist. This disturbing incident highlights the evolving nature of terrorist threats against our country." She has bought this TSA fraud. Remove her.

  • confirmed reptillian shapeshifter .. pause video and watch frame by frame pay attention to her eyes , mouth and teeth major morphing going on .. wake up america

  • senator Kay ... you EARN your salary not by regurgitating BABBLE ... you gotta attend MEETINGS with other senators to EARN your salary ... you are NOT a tv host

  • @Slipknotyk06 Not surprised you haven't heard about. The protesters in AZ threw bottles at police officers' heads (on video no less.) But the only thing said on CNN was that, "Although the protesters were mostly peaceful...." And Clinton has the nerve to say we shouldn't judge them all based on a few violent individuals! Tea Parties never get even that much credit. Jindal's aide only made local news. It doesn't fit the media narrative of the stupid angry GOP. and peaceful freedom fighting dems.

  • @flobrew - I didn't know about those violent protests, or that attack in Louisiana. It bugs me to hear Clinton say that he believes anti-gov rhetoric is what caused the OKC bombing. No, the guy reacted to your actions in Waco, where you slaughtered dozens of innocent people! It's awesome how these people rewrite history. They call us violent, citing a single militia's website as evidence. I could consider Chris Matthew's threats of sticking a gun in Rush's mouth as the most ominous I've heard.

  • @Slipknotyk06 You mean like when they ignore the anti-illegal immigration legislation rally in Arizona where people were starting fights?. Or a Bobby Jindal staffer and her boyfriend being beaten in the streets in a politically motivated attack after the Southern Republican Leadership Conference here in Louisiana? No. looks like the real news is in interviewing statists that talk about the "dangerous people in the Tea Party" even though there is no evidence to support that claim at all. Amen bro

  • @flobrew - Ignorant votes are why we're here today. I believe in a well-informed electorate. We have a society where indoctrination receives preference over education. Indoctrination is everywhere in the Public School system. Global Warming is taught as a fact, and nothing is said of the wrongs of big government or Union Thugs. Indoctrination is in the media, virtually no one has spoken a word about SEIU's beating of Kenneth Gladney.

  • @Slipknotyk06Thanks for that. If you look at all these progressives on Youtube, you only find one or 2 that will actually try to debate you on facts. They are the hard core socialists. I tend to at least have a bit of respect for those people even though I think they are wrong and dangerous. Thje ones that are obviously falling right into party line without trying to understand why, those are the ones I really feel for even while they infuriate and scare me. An ignorant vote is still a vote.
