To get the chorus right you should capo this song if you want to do it in that key. There are only two chords in the chorus and the base note is the same for both-the open B string. The first chord is an A and the second chord keeps the open B from the A chord as the root and moves the three notes you barred in the A (E, A, and C sharp) up two frets. Just move the barr up and down but keep the open B as the root. Try it- you will hear that it's correct immediately
