  • Yet another Brilliant Scriabin recording by this pianist. The feeling is all there. Scriabin said that this piece lasted for "eons".... anyway words don't count here..... Great recording/performance. Mucho thanko very

  • This piece is known by some as "Murmuring Demons". The middle register chromatic demons "comment" on & further weirdify the drifting "in & out" harmonies.

Death, etc. metal rockers may be stunned to find their beloved tritone "power chords" used in a civilized context many generations before their birth, with no distortion.

    Thanks to Nageeb Gardizi.

  • yes, there's really nothing more to say. Hope, that the Scriabin/Gardizi-Revival continues...:)

  • I really enjoyed this recording of this piece. I find that his manner of playing it was very much in line with the instructions in the score ("Tres Lent, Contemplatif"). This was a very good recording!

  • that's an interesting comment... I personally think, that these "demons" turn to be softer and more gentle towards the late Scriabin. did you already had a look at Gardizis hot flames, by the way? This might be also interesting for you...

  • this is aaaaaaaaawesome, man!!!!
