Sidney Crosby Hat Trick on Hat Night! [11-28-09]

Cooke suspended 2 games; Avery gets nothing. It's a good thing Bettman is behind all this and will do whatever it takes to help the Pens out...oh wait.

Sidney Crosby and the Pens with a HUGE night!

-5 point night for Crosby and the HT of course
-Almost everyone back in the lineup
-8 goals against the Rags
-Fleury's Birthday
-Hits and fights
-AND we get to do it all again on Monday

I don't think they had even mentioned Hat Night OR the fact that Crosby had two goals...

But I saw the hats on people's heads right from the start of the game since they were white, and when the Pens went on a long PP, it was only a matter of time until Crosby put in the 3rd goal! WOOOO!!! It was so awesome to see the hats raining down!

The fans were awesome as usual. Chants of "Go home Rangers!" and "Happy Birthday!" started in the last few minutes. Great stuff to hear.

GO PENS!

Prior to this, the last Penguins hat trick on hat night came on March 10, 2001 against the Calgary Flames (Jaromir Jagr). I happened to be at that hat night with my dad in 2001.
