@gardnerbm Because the law says they have to. The only way they could legally not allow this is to become a private school. But as long as they receive public, tax payer money, they must allow freedom of speech and freedom of religion on their campus...

Free speech is free speech. You were outside a residence hall where people were trying to study, sleep, etc. The residents had no say in your yelling in their living area. Maybe a little more focus on consideration for others and a little less rendering unto Ceasar?

What are you talking about? We were at the University to PREACH and to exercise our freedom of religion and freedom of speech. If you have a problem with out location, you need to talk to the University, not me. That is THEIR fault. They wouldn't let us preach anywhere else. We would have gladly preached at 2 or 3 other locations that we thought were better. Your complaint is with them...

Their is a difference when it comes to the laws for a residential area and when it comes to a public college campus common area. What you don't seem to understand is that this is where their OWN PEOPLE told us to preach after we had gotten permission...

How does a book condem someone???? How do you know I am a sinner? You say I am condemned and you say I am sinner no one else, God sure hasn't are you above him? Plus you didn't answer my question on what bible you use. You interpret the bible and preach the way you do because your pastor told you what to think and how to interpret it not God.

This "detective" is a clown. I cannot believe he holds the position he does. People are so ignorant when it comes to peoples rights. It is 100% legal.. I'm not a christian but I support what you are doing without a doubt. It's your right.

I disagree. When I was in college Snoop (advertised gangsta) performed & did the crip walk, frats did obscene shows at sports events. Rappers promote gangsterism on campus encouraging ppl to throw up hoods, get drunk, fornicate, etc. If a radio station sets up tent & plays sin music for all to hear NO Complaints. My cousin attends SCSU & is bombarded with sinful performances NO Complaints. The Gospel should not offend you and we are told to GO OUT & Fish not start a building fund. My 2 cents!

If that emotional cop is a Christian he should know that his people desperately need to hear the word of God, especially that generation. If BET or a radio station blasting sin, selling sinful music, etc was on campus that's perfectly permissable? We wonder why our teens & young 20's are in despair & dying! Jesus, John, & Paul didn't have airconditioned building, with bbq bake sells to FISH FOR MEN! Do the cops keep gangs from the sidewalk or park? Silencing the Gospel is genocide for us. SMH
