The Team Challenge C&C Runners workout is a six week training routine with Instructor Carter Hays. Warm up includes 25-50 jumping jacks. Dynamic stretches include 12-24 straight leg kicks, lateral kicks, knee lifts (straight and outside the elbows) and 36 arm swings (low, medium and high). Weight training includes 3 sets of 18 DB/MB Matrix, 3 sets of 8 slow count rep DB/MB SL Romanian Deadlifts (each leg, alternate feet), 3 sets of 8 slow count rep DB/MB SL outside of body chops (each leg), 3 sets of 12-20 rep squat-curl-presses, 3 sets of 12 push-ups minimum, seated Lsit runners with 3-5 lb. dumbells, SB plank holds and SB prone knees to chest. Static stretches include calf, hamstring, glute stretches, quad stretches or hip flexer quads, kneeling abductor stretches, low back sequence and chest-shoulder core exercise. **REMEMBER** - Do static stretches everyday after your exercises, before bed or after a shower. Weight train 2-3 days per week. Try to train with weights on a light run day, 4-6 hours after a run or immediately after a run.

  • Very informative. Stretching is something that I really need to do more.
