KXAS-TV - "Texas News 5 at Five" clip from Memorial Day 1995

The first few minutes of the Dallas-Fort Worth NBC affiliate's 5 p.m. evening newscast on May 29, 1995, including the opening and coverage of Memorial Day observances. The opening shows anchors Brad Wright and Angela Cain, meteorologist David Finfrock, and Scott Murray on sports; Mike Snyder was filling in for Wright on this particular day.

First, sights and sounds from the observances in Washington, D.C., presented without commentary, including the unveiling of a POW-MIA stamp, comments from President Bill Clinton, the traditional laying of the wreath at Arlington National Cemetery, and an event at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Then, Memorial Day services at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas (complete with a fly-by and a 21-gun salute), and at Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth, where the Royal Flying Corps remembered fallen Britons, Canadians and Americans who served with the British forces.

I'm thinking Mike got that last line mixed up!
