  • The page clearly discussed the collection of data to figure out what works (you know, the "life sustaining programs" part?), not the removal of medicare money, or anything like that.

  • @rolling126r

Gee, which of these is going to give more of flying f*ck about your continued existence, a government made of elected officials whose status in office (and the subsequent status of the "cushy" government officials oppointed by them) hinge on the votes of Americans, or a group of Corporate entities who ALL rate in the fortune 500 and have over 92 percent (U.S. Dept of Labor) of wrongful death suits against them dropped without initial trials due to lobbyists?

    Tough.F*cking.Call.

  • @EXRazeBurn When an insurance denies the claim, a person can sue the insurance company and switch to another insurance (and if that insurance company has a habit of denying claims then they won't stay in business very long). Does suing the gov't hurt them? no, they just raise taxes to cover it...but whatever...you go ahead and put your life in the hands of people who really don't give a damn about you. your a fucking tool

  • @rolling126r And clearly YOU didn't understand much either! You, much like many anti-government trolls, think if the government EVER acts as a "third-party" they'll take an extremist viewpoint and deny treatments. When in reality that same decision was the SOLE providence of insurance companies (and still is thanks to idiots like you) who can deny "life-saving procedures" without ANY justification unlike the addendum which required detailed justification for such an action.

  • if john stewart ran for president, i would vote for the first time in my life

  • @Direwolf0702 There is one way to make it work - force the doctor to take less. That's works for awhile until the doctor says "screw this! I'm retiing" and the younger doctors look at the situationa and say "screw this! I'm getting a new career!" and then we have a doctor shortage which leads to a medial blackmarket which leads to people paying even higher prices for healthcare ...sounds fucking great!

  • @Direwolf0702 Or as Nancy Pelosi said "We hav to pass the bill to find out what's in it." That is your Democratic leadership!!! Idiots!!!!

  • @Direwolf0702 Insurance companies do not decide between who is more worthy to get medical treatment as would happen in a massive gov't triage system based on monetary concerns. Put yourself in the gov't position. You own a farm...two workers need a operaton that costs $500. You only have $600. How do you choose which worker gets the help? You simply see which one benefits you the most - and that would be the younger worker...how can you ppl not see that? now put that on a larger scale

  • @rolling126r two things: 1. i guess when insurance companies do it, it's okay then? as long as someone else makes a buck i guess it's okay. 2. there's nothing that was EVER in the law that would let the government make decisions like that. republicans took something that was a bit difficult to decipher and just MADE SHIT UP! glad they were able to get the law passed anyway.

  • pwnd!
