Did anyone else notice the person standing behind Ben @ 1:23 that looks like Tate with blood dripping down his face. When I first heard that Constance had a 4th child, I thought this Tate-look a like could be his twin or something

I love this scene so much. Actually, I think this whole pilot episode is a titch better than the rest of the season, just because it was written so well. There was time for dialogue-filled scenes like this, and inserts like cutting to Violet while Tate was talking about "all that blood". Insanely well-done. <3

I'm normally not a fan of modern movies and television using something from a classic film or television show because it's usually badly done or turned into a joke. However, the use of Georgie's Theme from Twisted Nerve by Bernard Herrmann is perfect for Tate's character. The writing for the first season was incredibly well done, and I was ceaselessly impressed by Evan Peters' acting, so I loved every time they used it. It was an homage, not satirical.
