I had a similar experience going to Israel but in reverse. I'm tri-racial (black, white and Indian) but I do look Arabic. It took me ages to get through passport control and the lady looking at my passport picture stared at it for 5 minutes and did not know if I was the same person. I mean come on. I've been to at least 12 different countries and never had that experience. The most anyone had looked at my picture was for 10 seconds. She let me through but it was with hesitation. LOL!

Any average Israeli talks English and due to the fact that we came from "4 corners of earth" you can find 10 years old kids who talks 3 languages perfectly.
(I was always asked to write my American friends letters , though Israeli ....)

@skhan1992 "needs to vanish"? Do you mean Israel needs to learn Vanish as another language? I am not familiar with this language, do you mean Danish? Perhaps you mean "varnish". I disagree ... the Israelis are very careful to varnish their furniture often. Or perhaps you are a magician, in which case you can perhaps make anti-Semetic stupidity vanish and for the world to have peace. Shalom Israel!
