@Axbent : I also possess a BEAUTIFUL Swiss-made "Spring DB Br 18.5" in Spur 0. It is so beautifully proportioned and rendered it makes the 50% larger Asters look awful! FURTHER I have a 7 1/2" New York Central Hudson that is a work of art. Don't believe it? Go on you tube to "Chula Vista Live Steamer Fall '09 meet" and see for yourself. THAT is what I initially suggested. Instead of the pricey Asters 7 1/4 is it! ONLY In the U.S.A.: An idea + effort = Financial SUCCESS! NO WHERE ELSE!
@Axbent : Hey Bent Axles; Your comment: "That('s) just in America" is exactly what's inadequate about the rest of you in this F**ed up world. Get off your Socialist "Collective" asses and do something of value THEN you' too would be able to afford big toys and yes they are ONLY TOYS! You are behaving inferior and clearly are inferior by that behavior. Those Aster engines are crude for their size and price. I have two an A3 & A4.
Pardon my asking, but considering the expense of what I see in this video, have you ever considered a 7 1/4" gauge U.P 4-6-6-4 or better still, an NKP 2-8-4? These are genuinely, exceptionally fine models done out here in California.
