Start of a quarter peal of CNPRSY at St Mary's, Bungay, which is the church with the massive tower in the middle of the town which itself is lovely. They were cast in 1820 by Whitechapel and sound nice but quite distant inside. They aren't rung very often and as a result are a bit stiff to ring, which in addition to the ceiling being a long way up and very bad oddstruckness mean they are a hard ring of bells to get right, but rewarding if you put the effort in. The tenor is 16cwt in F.

  • Sounds like a nice old eight. I hope Black Shuck didn't come in and ruin the ringing!
