For almost two decades Kathryn Mora has worked as a journalist writing feature stories on a variety of subjects. Kathryn's need to tell stories that have meaning to her and ones she feels passionate about led her to documentary filmmaking. This demo reel showcases her work.

Currently, Kathryn is in preproduction for her new documentary film called "America Through A Car Window: My Personal Journey." Kathryn and her cinematographer plan to leave March 1, 2011 and travel for 3 months from the east coast to the west coast This story is about the adventures of a young girl when she and her family left the only home shed ever known in Los Angeles and lived a Gypsy lifestyle as they traveled across the United States.

However, this documentary is not only about her personal journey, but also about the collective journeys of others and their stories. If we never dare to venture outside our home state we'd miss the chance to experience the collective whole of our country, cultivate new ideas, and embrace each others differences.
