Wintario revisited the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto in November 1979 to launch its new weekly Wintario Game. Before that time, Wintario was a bi-weekly game that featured a series number and a five digit ticket number. This new launch ushered in the way Wintario would be played for many many years. The games' mainstay was players could match consecutive numbers in tickets. What is nice is that you could win by matching 3, 4 or 5 or all 6 digits. Even on the grand prize draw, subsidary prizes could be won. This also launches the popular two digit win fall number in which lottery players could win a free book of five Wintario tickets for the next draw. In 9 months, Fred Davis would leave the show. He left in the fall of 1980.
