wrong way recumbent almost gets hit

This is the first time seeing this guy. He was riding with only one hand on the handlebar. I got the impression he might have been handicaped. I can not figure out why he changed sides. There was no traffic he could have gone around the truck like I did. Oh well, makes for an interesting video.

You arrogant, ignorant, pathetic moron. He did not almost get hit. He was well aware of the car. And for your information, as bicyclists who are paying attention, we are all actually SAFER RIDING AGAINST THE TRAFFIC ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD so that we can see what's coming at us. Please go kill yourself. On second thought, just keep riding with the traffic and eventually some car will plow into you. Hopefully.

I remember a few debates with Leftpondian cyclists on how a number of them were genuinely convinced that it was safer to ride against traffic on the wrong side of the road. Madness, IMO.
