They are clearly mutually playing and enjoying each other's company. Even a kitten would do the same sort of "annoying" stuff to a grown cat. The cat probably prefers a puppy's less sharp bite over a kitten's. The cat would definitely let the dog know if he was hurting him with a warning growl. Sweet video.

cute, my dachshound was exactly the same - now is old lady :), but at the puppy times she was the same little devil.

Cute on the one hand, but have to say the puppy is annoying the cat. Pup seems to be nipping cat's ears and face a lot. Cat is VERY good-natured and tolerant. My cat is goo-natured n general but would not put up with that for very long and would let the pup know it. Not a good idea to let pup thinks it's OK to be so mouthy because it will not be so nice a thing when it gets older and grows larger. Not good for people or other animals.

They still do this. The dog is bigger now. The cat seems to enjoy being bitten. When she has had enough she will swat the dog or just jump up on a table. Then 5 minutes later she jumps back down and lays on her back just daring the the dog to attack....and of course she does. I will post an updated video soon.
