I half expected Scott Kelby to start talking when the music stopped. It's the same intro music as all the videos at Kelby Training.

Are these two the only light set up videos you have? I am trying to decide how best to set up lighting for a green screen, and came by your videos.

I suggest strobe lights for people photography and continuous light for product photography. Check the web and your local retailer for equipment. 250 watt seconds is good for power and make sure your lights come with a good warranty. Some companies have 2 year and thats helpful down the road if you have an issue.

would a combo of both strobes & continuous halogens offset one another in shooting people ...?

Good question. Both type of lights can be used together. It can be very creative. Only real issue is the colour temperature of the lights. Strobes are 5400K and most continuous are 3200k. Give it a try and see what happens.
