Belinda (Mwana) was done in 1984 by Grady Harrell. Not many folks will remember the guy but he was so cool back then. I wonder why the girl turned him down eventually... anyway enjoy the song.

  • @jasminjune79 you're welcome. I was quite pleased to re-load this video which was originally posted by somebody else on Youtube. This man gave me a lot of happiness then I must say. Cheers.

  • Wel, I have asked the singer himself why the girl turned him down and he gave me an answer. If you send me your email, I will tell you why. Cheers

  • tears tears tears........old school

  • @ionuorah

It make sense to think that Grady Harrel is South African or any African nation. His Nollywood-like hit video (Belinda Mwana) can throw a lot of people off in thinking do.

You might find it interesting to know that the name of beautiful lady that played his girlfriend in the video (Belinda Mwana) is Renee Jones - an American born soap-opera actress.

Trust me, they are all Americans.

  • @magnetmac I thought he was south african

  • @darkwalls247 I hate you for making me feel really old.......Thanks alot ; )

  • I remember watching the video back in Nigeria as a young teenager. There was an argument whether he is a Nigerian/American as a Nollywood singer. Even people speculated that he was Michael Jackson's brother 'cause of his dance move and voice. It took almost 30 years to find out I was right all along - Grady Harrell is his name and was not born anywhere in Africa. Born and raised in Los Angeles. He narrowly missed being the Shalamar lead singer.

  • This song is still the bomb after all these years!!

  • Whoever posted this song may God bless you. Boy, I was barely 6 when I heard it.

  • this is real old school. thnx for uploading this incredible video
