I am adding that as I work on what it takes to make yet another render I dream of producing another animation and maybe this vue program will lead me there, but the bar is set pretty high these days so be proud of this work here, be very proud.
I want you to know though that you set the bar pretty darn high with this animation and for that I curse you........lol

I know very well what a heart breaking process it is to produce quality work in animation all too well having started out using animator back in the days of onion skinning and drawing out every and every frame by hand. Today things are a bit easier to animate but yet they are harder because people now expect more in animation, I remember proudly showing a 30 second long hand drawn cartoon that I had worked on for six months off and on only to have my audience very much unimpressed....lol
I ran into this entirely by accident as I won a copy of vue on Ebay, a copy of version six and I was looking into what can be done in the program. I realize this is old and you probably don't even visit this clip anymore but on the off chance you do....This was great, wished it was longer I didn't want to leave just yet. Yes I know how time consuming the making of a video can be so I am not clambering for more, thanks for sharing!

@fritters56 Thank you for your lovely comments, I'm sure that you appreciate how long this tiny clip took to render, just wish I could afford a render farm lol! Hope you enjoy using Vue as much as I have done :)

how did you do the hair
campbellnova 2 years ago
It's part of the 3d mesh and is controlled with morph targets. In Carrara (this was made in Vue) you can make dynamic hair which responds to movement and wind etc)
