France accuses US of 'occupying' Haiti

France has accused the U.S. of occupying stricken Haiti, saying its military surge is hindering the relief effort. The French minister in charge of humanitarian aid has asked the UN to clarify America's role in the country. He says after assuming charge of Haiti's main airport, they've been turning away emergency supplies in favor of military planes. The charity Doctors without Borders backed his call to the UN, saying lives were being put at risk. US commanders insist they agreed to give priority to aid shipments last night after UN intervention.

France, like the other colonial powers made huge fortunes exploiting and enslaving Africans and others. What goes around, comes around. Now France is being taken over by nonwhite immigrants and illegals. There is finally a measure of justice in the world. Even little England now has it's very own Londonistan. Not quite the same France! The France that exploited Haiti with African slave labor was Imperial France from the time of king Louis XIV until the revolution. Slavery was abolished by the revolutionaries (around 1793) following the execution of Louis XVI. (and btw, the Spanish were the first to use slave labor on the island.) It's a different world; this story is from the 21st century, not the 18th.
