Demolition of Lake Champlain Bridge as seen from dock at the Crown Point Lighthouse (~1000ft from mid-span). The 80 year old historic truss bridge was demolished following discovery earlier this fall of extensive deterioration in the unreinforced concrete piers. I was up there at west mountain tubing when this happened. I was planning on going but I had slept in. My firned went but said he couldn't see it becaouse of the snow. I guess this person had better luck. I was gonna happen last week but they postponed it till this week
