Joris Luyendijk comes up with five new ways for journalists to deal with the problems described in his book "Het zijn net mensen." In this video Luyendijk describes his first solution.
I think even though, searching or wiling to know the truth is not enough to know it. I worked in Iraq in 2003-2004. My truth is different to the others one.
Is that Robert Fisk who is sitting next to Joris? Did he also speak? I'd be very curious to know whether he agrees with Joris, or not. Because their ideas seem similar (both critical towards all sides) but at the same time different (Joris emphasizes you often cannot know, Robert that the journalists are often not working hard enough to get to the truth). So, my questions are: Where was this? Was the talk by Robert Fisk also recorded? Did he react to Joris' ideas and Joris to his?
