Tashan - Save The Family

Tashan is an artist from Poughkeepsie, New York, who started out in the mid-'80s by writing and producing 'Yours For A Night', by the hip-hop group, Whodini, on their first album. Tashan's first album was Chasing A Dream, released in 1986. His second album, On The Horizon, released in 1989, had an uplifting Afro-centric vibe throughout it. The album had songs such as, 'Save The Family' and 'Black Man'. Tashan released a third album, For The Sake of Love, in 1993. This album produced the single, 'Love Is Forever'.
