@calumstarkey we lost the title, but this year is surely ours! <3

@Cds1707 Ronaldo guarantees goals, so I would definitely consider taking him back. But I like the fact that we don't really have a "main-man" anymore. Rooney is off form, but Berbatov has really stepped up. Nani is showing consistency and Fletcher is one of the best combative midfielders in world football now. While Ronaldo did have the flair, and he was a great finisher, he was also greedy, and stole the headlines. With him gone, a lot of other players have grown. Like when Henry left Arsenal.

@calumstarkey Yeah he does shout far far far too often i agree. United did play good football but I can guarantee if you ask most man utd fans, they would gladly take ronaldo back without question.

@Cds1707 Ronaldo's shots to shots on target average is 1 in 7. Hardly fantastic. In comparison, Villa's is 1 in 1.5. I made that comment 2 years ago, before Ronaldo left United, so let's not talk about this season. Ronaldo left in 2009, not 2 months ago. Last season, United played better football without Ronaldo. And Nani is the leading assister in England so far this season, hardly Ronaldo-esque.

@calumstarkey Ofcourse he's greedy but he's got the ability to beat players so why not be?
And real have played more attractive football without him because A) It was a new season with too many new players to work well
B) Mourinho a defensive coach has come in
Man Utd have been playing awful this season - giving away 2 goals leads to Everton in 4 mins of injury time, Ronney needs to get his head sorted out and nani needs to stop trying to be ronaldo.

@Cds1707 If you take away Ronaldo's free-kicks, penalties and tap ins, he'll score about 12 a season. I'm not trying to take anything away from him, he's a fantastic footballer, but he's greedy. I think Manchester United play better these days without him, it was like we hit the ball to him every chance we got. Also, Rooney has came into his own since Ronaldo left. Real Madrid played more attractive football without him too.
-
@calumstarkey He scored about 9 or 10 times from beating 3+ players. His team mates rely on him as much as he relies on them.
Cant argue with messi though. Can beat whoever, whenever :P
-
@Cds1707 Ronaldo relies on his team-mates. That was my point. I posted that 2 years ago. Look at how many goals Ronaldo has scored in Spain that weren't penalties, free-kicks, or assisted. He very rarely has an end product to his runs. Yes it's nice to watch, but he's great because his team-mates search for him. Higuain, Alonso, Marcelo. They look for him with every pass. Messi has an end product to his runs, he can beat 5 players and score. Ronaldo can beat 5 players and hit a pea roller.

@calumstarkey I agree with the fact the united always come up with amazing stars every time some start to doubt them but, seriously, ronaldo is nothing without rooney or tevez?!?! 33 goals in 35 games in his 1st season for madrid... speaks volumes.
And is that to say Messi is nothing without Xavi and Iniesta? Id imagine you put him in any team and he'd play the same as he always does.
Ronaldo doesnt rely on Rooney and Tevez, clearly.

On this two comments,I must give you the reason. It's simlpy, I share your opinion.
3 English teams in the UCL semi-finals...
We won the English League...
We won the Champions League...
If Ronaldo goes, we'll get another. When Cantona went, people said it was the end of Man Utd, then we won the treble. When Beckham went, people said we were finished. Sir Alex brought in Ronaldo and we won the title two years in a row. If Ronaldo goes, we'll get a replacement. Ronaldo is nothing without Rooney and Tevez's energy. He's an amazing player, but only half that without them.
