why are there tracks on a road?

There's a part of your brain that balances anything you do. If it's out of whack, then you will turn into a train as a result of deciding NOT to. Old people have this problem and will actually shift into your lane right after you get into the left lane to pass them. They don't mean to. They mean to stay in their lane, but their brain does just the opposite. It's a type of dyslexia and more common than a lot of people realize. Always be prepared for people to stupidly pull in front of you.

These trains are silent. That is why people miss them. They were made to be silent, because they go through a business district. And because of that, no one hears them coming. And because there are no crossing arms on this road, no one sees them coming. That is why there have been hundreds of wrecks on the Houston Metro Rail. I hate that rail line. Every time I drive down there, I think to myself: "Where is the train? Am I going to hit it? Am I going to get everyone in the car killed?"

I'm not shore how people could miss them. They look quite big to me!

It's called a rear view mirror, and you're supposed to check you blind spot.
The funny thing is, they turn into the path of the train/tram almost kamikaze-like...
