A kidnapped American teenage boy escaped from suspected al-Qaida-linked militants and wandered without shoes for two days in a southern Philippine jungle before villagers found him, ending his five-month captivity, officials said. (Dec. 12)

@GreatScottPro FYI Mindanao is called the "Promise Land" of the Philippines..It has beautiful places and tourist attraction... it is also the Phil. food basket...and Mindanao is so rich with Minerals especially with Gold and Nickel..

The only problem in Mindanao are the Muslim separatist that until now wants to control the region...
