Amam Extra, the new digital sub-label of Sardinia-based Amam Records, is back again to provide a succinct overview of its core talent as well as a few newcomers. Put on your pressure suit, because things are about to get deep!

Madrid's Mountage (AKA Waveform) teams up with Javier Orduña for "Isla Decanta", an adventure into the depths of your own psyche with a driving pulse, a bit of housy organ, and plenty of atmospherics. Then, things perk up a bit when Matteo Spedicati and Mr. Bizz join forces for a powerful workout, not unlike their recently released EP for TuningSpork Records.

After those two collaborations, we get three more originals: Vito Cacciapaglia offers a more restrained number, that, like its title suggests, has a clear Eastern influence. Veteran Signor Andreoni provides some old-school flavor with just the right acidity to match the bass, so its pH level stays perfectly balanced. Finally, Amam label boss Alessio Mereu ends things on a high note with a compelling combination of crunchy percussion, soulful vocal samples and melodic house keyboard accents. As expected, another class act from Amam!
