Fairy Tale of New York (The Pogues COVER) - Andy's Acoustic "Practice" Ver.

I just started working on this song today and this is an initial attempt version.
I will do some more practice and make a new video again. The next time maybe I will play the acordeon and drums, too, to make it an MTR version.
これは、アイルランド出身の The Pogues というバンドの歌です。　「ニューヨークのおとぎ話」という題名ですが、多分にアイルランド民謡的なイメージを持っていると思います。　クリスマスの歌で、ちょっと季節はずれではありますが。　
俗語を含む歌詞ではありますが、なかなか味わい深い歌だと思います。
今回は初めての、練習バージョンです。　もっと練習して、今度は、アコーデオンとドラムスも入れた多重録音版にしてみようと思っています。

この歌詞にある、  drunk tank とは、酔っ払いがぶち込まれる留置所のことのようです。

ステージで、酒を飲みながら、タバコを吸いながら、この歌を歌う­シェイン。

賛否両論。　多分否が大勢かもしれません。　でも、そこにいる観衆達も、彼と一緒になって、踊りながら歌って­いる。　これは紛れもない事実です。

私は、彼が、好きです。

この曲本当は途中から男女の掛け合いになるので、女性の声真似を­しようかと思ったんですが、そうなると、ちょっと方向性が変わっ­て来てしまうので・・・（？）
