  • Whole Foods is prospering because people are becoming conscious consumers.

  • What Mackey wrote was genius. every one of his ideas was much better than the democrats' tyrannical takeover of our rights. The only moral health system is one with more freedom and less government.

  • @one9nik they have given us tremendous wealth.

  • @herbs814 What he wrote was pedestrian, and is part of the basic graduate business curriculum. Or, at least it was way back in 1993 when I got my MBA.

  • When I walk through Whole Foods all I see is masses of processed junk food (ie, chips, cookies, etc.) that have the image of wholesomeness stamped on them. The cheese on the pizza is so cheap that it made my little children almost vomit and they refused to eat it. And several times I have had my prices ring up at the register higher than the prices posted in the aisle. I'm.....shall I understate, skeptical...

  • Shut up, dick.

  • whole foods is a bunch of horse shit. all fucking talk. no different than dupont or any other money grubbing corporation. pseudo hippie place that it is.

  • what have corporations done to solve the worlds problems in the last 200 yrs?

  • conscious capitalism sounds kinda like socialism.

  • Bussines the more money the better what are you F TALKING about

  • @joker52mlb I don't really understand why you think I want high taxes and big government. I just stated that this free market fundamentalism isn't the answer and that, as with everything, you need balance. No one likes bureaucracy, but at times you need it.

If regulation isn't the answer, as I so often hear, then what is? We've tried leaving it up to the corporations themselves, appealing to their long term interests which failed. Who else can keep these financial cartels in check?

  • @megamarsvin How you equate more government bureaucracy and taxation to be the answer to any economies problems, i may never understand. I do actually, but the process is inherently anti-market, so that dictates my oposition to that process. Unless of course you are regulating the right people. However you and I both see the problems: corporatism, bankers and HUGE firms manipulating money. I'm just saying more government isn't the solution, because it's the same ppl who are doing all this shit.
