Just got back from a fishing trip in destin. My first time! Our catch of the day was a 45lbs King Mackeral. We caught a boat load of Red Snapper also. Good time hope I get a chance to do it again.

Yep - and we properly release DOZENS after the limit is reached; we eat the rest (this wasn't a free trip btw)

that is called bottom fishing...not technically deep sea fishing-just to clarify, and that is pretty weird that they aren't putting them on ice...and it don't take anything to kill a cobia or any other fish...you don't actually have to "kill" it. stuff it in the damn locker...they're fish...you don't have to club them

AGAIN.... this few minutes of video does not show every detail of what the charter boat guys are doing - just because you didn't see the fish being iced in this 5 minutes of video from an all day excursion doesn't mean they weren't iced...
And for the casual tourists in the panhandle the terms deep sea and bottom fishing are used interchangeably by boat captains and trip advertisements.
